How the gate works
- Your $kakacoin balance is read from Solana, not from anything we control.
- To join, you sign a plain message naming the room and your session. It costs nothing and moves no tokens.
- Every other member checks that signature and your balance themselves before accepting your audio. There is no central gatekeeper to trust.
- Audio and chat go browser to browser over WebRTC. The only third party is the PeerJS signalling service, which helps browsers find each other and never sees the audio.
- Some strict corporate or mobile networks block direct peer connections. If a member's voice never arrives, that is why.
